The negative number 1 is slowly moving up
Not only did the food take a long time to arrive. About 35 minutes. And we were the only people in the entire restaurant at the time. But the food was not of good -quality at all. Pizza was a frozen piece of cardboard with some cheap sauce and cheese thrown on it. Club sandwich with no bacon. Deep fried vegetables that were 95% mushrooms. Sorry I would love to rate better
VERY dated; felt like we stepped into 1985... but not in a good way. Food was decent; not awful but not incredible.
Oh and a jukebox on the wall
What happened to the keyboard player they had there? Bartender turned on jukebox I went over it would not take my money

Had cheese and crackers, crackers were definitely stale
New owners seem to careless about the place, it’s a shame once a nice place to relax have a nice meal and some drinks

That tells you something
I've been eating here since 1987 and while it's always been like stepping into a time machine it's service has definitely slipped off the charts. The 6oz filet I ordered was pretty good. Properly cooked, rather lean. The restaurant was nearly empty. Service was super slow. The worst part really was the lack of housekeeping. The floors hadn't been swept in some time, there was a significant amount of food pieces on the floor, way more then to be expected at dinner time in an empty restaurant. There were huge cobwebs in all of the windows and corners. The windows had not been cleaned and were quit dirty/covered with fingerprints The nearly dead plants hanging over the tables was also a nice touch. The fish tanks needed a good cleaning. This place has definitely lost the 'let's eat at the Frog Pond because that's what we always do when going home' appeal.
My wife and I stopped in there last weekend on a Saturday evening 7 people including the bartender, out dated beer as someone else posted on here, parking lot is a mess needs gravel or some patch work
